Celebrating Monday and Latte's 1st Birthdays

Happy 1st birthday Monday and Latte!
ABA Monday Funday and ABA Lucky Latte were born on a hot spring day, 5/4/25, to Swallow Hill PD Mirella M and Hundeholz Thats a Nice Boulder B. This was a highly anticipated kidding for me, as I had already named and retained all doelings from Mirella before she even went into labor, and it isnt simply because Mirella is an excellent doe in all aspects (but that was a major reason of course!). Many of you may know that there have been 3 incredibly influential goats to me throughout the history of ABA, and two of those are Sunday and Espresso. In memory of my beloved girls, I wanted to name Mirella's doelings Latte (since you add espresso into lattes!) and Monday (since it always comes after Sunday... lol). I was actually hoping for triplet doelings: another girl, named Asteroid Destroyer (as one of my nieces really wanted to name a goat), but Mirella only ended up having twin doelings.
Monday and Latte ended up having pretty big shoes to fill. Of course I recognize that they are their own goats with their own personalities, but Latte is as adventurous and curious as Eapresso. Monday is as gentle and kind as Sunday. I think I named them quite well. Both of them share similar obsessions as Sunday & Espresso did: they love to fight over who eats to get the Good Dirt, they will devour any cardboard box within a mile radius with disturbing efficiency, they have a very close relationship with Diesel, and they are both quite unique sisters with a very strong bond.
Last fall, only a few months after Monday & Latte were born, I won a raffle and picked up the beautiful young doeling Paulen Ridge Assana. I didnt know what her registered name was at the time, but being she was the last 2025 kid to be brought on, I promised my niece that her barn name would be Asteroid Destroyer, and being only a couple months older than the twins, I decided to try to see if she'd bond to them. As if fate had a hand in things, her registered name was Assana, which works out perfectly for her nickname Azzy (I prefer Azzy spelling over Assy for probably obvious reasons lol). Azzy fit in Monday and Latte's dynamic beautifully. There was no drama, no major fights, they just all basically immediately became family. Shes just as odd, just as sweet, and everything I couldve hoped for. All three of them are inseparable now. Odd how things work like that. Of course, Azzy's birthday is different, but I celebrated all 3 today since they might as well be sisters.
Unfortunately, Monday is going to be a pet goat only. Latte and Azzy will be joining my breeding program when big enough, but despite Monday's beautiful build, she was born with non-conforming teats. No matter, by the time I noticed I had already fallen in love with her, and I keep too many pets anyway.
I spent the last part of today in the sunshine, secretly feeding all 3 berries while trying to keep the other goats from noticing, and giving them all tons of love.
